Open Letter from Michael Mendonca, Dir., Lovell Rec
Greetings Supporters of Lovell Recreation:
Our winter activities are near completion with our Annual Winter Carnival scheduled for Saturday, March 5th, 1-4 pm at New Suncook School and our Winter Sports Awards Gala scheduled for Thursday, March 17th, 6-8 pm at the Lovell VFW. This years winter carnival is organized and hosted by the New Suncook PTA and Lovell Recreation and should be a big hit like every year provided we have snow and moderate temperatures. So....please get out to our carnival and celebrate winters end and early spring arrival.
Our Spring program sign-ups dates are set with first, Saturday, March 12th, 10 am - noon at the Lovell Rec Building, 5 Smarts Hill Rd., and Thursday, March 17th, 6-8 pm at the Lovell Rec Building, conveniently across the street from the VFW winter sports gala (download flyer HERE). Please make every effort to signup at the designated times. A late fee will charged after March 31st.
The Lovell Town Meeting is in the morning of March 5th, 9 am at the Old Lovell Town Hall. There Lovell citizens will be voting to accept our budget request. I can not thank you enough for being a faithful patron to our department, and if time permits; your attendance to the town meeting would prove how valuable our department is to the well-being of your family and the health of our community.
Let us all welcome the 2011 year with enthusiasm and doing Lovell Recreation activities with agosto. Keep on rec-in !
Sincerely,
Michael Mendonca, Your Director
