Appointed by Selectmen each year to one year term. State certification required.

The Code Enforcement Officer issues Building Permits and Conditional Use Permits in conjunction with approvals of the Planning Board where required, and inspects construction work during construction,
to determine that all new building is in compliance with the Land Use Ordinance and Building Codes adopted by the town of Lovell.
The town of Lovell has adopted the Building Codes
- Residential: International Residential Code - One and Two Family Dwellings - "2000".
- Commercial: International Building Code - "2000".
Office Hours
Wednesday - 1:00pm - 3:30pm at the Lovell Town Office [(207) 925-6272] and at other times by appointment.
